Ecocycle Planning Canvas

The Ecocycle is an organising tool to help individuals and groups visualise the developmental stages of their projects, products, practices, habits, and relationships. It can be used individually and by groups and is a core part of the Liberating Structure Ecocycle Planning.

Like plants, our ideas, projects, products, practices, and our habits and relationships go through a life cycle: first they are seeds which need water and sun, to then sprout out of the ground, before maturing to give fruit, and finally dying at the end of the year, so that the next cycle can start.

Print out to use for in-person individual reflection or large scale for in-person group sense making, reflection and alignment.

Use digitally as a background in a visual annotation app (e.g. Paper by 53), as a canvas in a digital workspace for visual collaboration - e.g. Google Slides; Mural, Miro… or share in a virtual meeting as a background for spectrograms.
